Geno-Led Photodynamic Therapy (PDT) is a 100% natural
treatment that is suitable for all skin types, for all ages and for all
seasons! During the application we use a focused beam of light
from 4 different wavelengths and shades, depending on the action
we want to stimulate.
The chromatic grid that is released stimulates the underlying
tissues and activates in the skin photosensitive substances that
neutralize bacteria, oiliness , infected sebaceous glands and treat
acne, rosacea , eczema, psoriasis, panes, discolorations and
similar skin problems.
In addition, the emission of light affects the immune and
lymphatic system by stimulating the elimination of toxins, relieving
any inflammation and accelerating the healing process.
More specifically:
Red Light: emits 640nm and reaches 1 ~ 6 nm under the skin. It
soothes the signs of aging and skin relaxation. It stimulates the
skin and helps in the development of collagen and elastin as it
enhances the circulation of blood and oxygen in the tissues.
Blue Light: emits 423nm and reaches 1mm under the skin. It
fights the inflammation of acne prone skin, offering relief and a
healthy look. It acts on the sebaceous glands, reduces redness,
irritation and discoloration.
Green Light: emits 532nm and reaches 0.5 ~ 2 mm under the
skin. It helps in the healing process of the damaged skin, in
balancing melanin and regulates sebum production.
Yellow Light: emits 583nm and reaches 1 ~ 2 mm under the skin.
It helps to eliminate toxins through the lymphatic system and
provides energy to cells.
The Geno-Led photodynamic activity does not use heat or
harmful UV radiation and does not injure your skin. If you are being
treated with topical retinoid or salicylic acid, it may be combined as
a supportive treatment because it does not affect their action.
The number of treatments needed varies from person to person
and depends on the size of the need.
We generally recommend 5 to 12 sessions, either as an individual
treatment or in combination with other protocols for even more
